Senator Kelly moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Labor and Commerce Committee Substitute offered on page 1524. Senator Duncan objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objections, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 158(L&C) was adopted and read the second time. 1996-02-21 Senate Journal Page 2492 SB 158 Senator Miller offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 8, line 1, after dentists,: Insert veterinarians, Page 11, line 19, after dentist, Insert veterinarian, Senator Miller moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senators Rieger, Miller offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 4, line 9: Delete "of pharmacy recognized by the American" Insert "in a degree program approved by the board;" Page 4, lines 10 - 15: Delete all material. Senator Rieger moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Without objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
